LAS VEGAS – Depending on who you talk to, Carlos Condit’s
unanimous-decision win over Nick Diaz in the main event of Saturday
night’s UFC 143 event in Las Vegas was either a brilliantly designed and
perfectly executed gameplan or a mockery of mixed martial arts.
While it’s obvious, of course, which Condit believes, you can also count
UFC president Dana White among those who thinks the “Natural Born
Killer” did all the right things.
“Carlos Condit won,” White said following the evening’s post-event press
conference. “He went in there, and he fought a great fight.”

LAS VEGAS – Dana White said he “wasn’t in the mood” to attend the UFC on FOX 2 post-event press conference – after 10 years of not missing a fight and maybe missing only a handful of pressers.
“I usually try to skip press conferences where I know I’m going to,” White said before someone offered, “get hammered?”
In so many words, yes. Three main-card fights went to a decision during the Jan. 28 event, and he knew naysayers would be out in force and that there would be much hand-wringing over the future of UFC on network TV.

UFC president Dana White was looking to offer an apology but nearly found himself in unpleasant situation.
“I get my gun before answering the door,” Julie Breeler told Las Vegas’
FOX 5. “I crack the door and say, ‘Yes?’ He says, ‘Julie Breeler?’ and
I’m like, ‘Yes.’ He says, ‘Hi, I’m Dana White.’”
White visited Breeler’s home to offer a personal apology for hundreds of
harassing phone calls she received after her information was mistakenly
released by hackers who were trying to attack White.

UFC president Dana White’s war on Internet piracy may have just taken an unexpected (and somewhat bizarre) turn.
Twenty-four hours after hackers posted White’s alleged personal info -
including his apparent phone number, social security number and current
and past addresses – a Las Vegas woman has come forward and claims at least part of that information is completely incorrect.
“When I look, it’s my phone number and my address,” Las Vegas’ Julie
Breeler told FOX 5 Vegas in a Friday night report. “There’s no Dana
White here, folks.”

CHICAGO – If you were monitoring Twitter on Sunday, news that the UFC website had been rerouted by anti-SOPA hackers didn’t get much of a rise out of its president, Dana White.
Not enough to distract him from watching his beloved New England Patriots win a trip to the Super Bowl.
Things haven’t changed much since then. As the UFC allots additional resources to fight a repeat occurrence of the cyber-attack, White today issued a challenge to those who would hijack the UFC’s URL.

CHICAGO – Regardless of what Chael Sonnen says, should he defeat Michael Bisping at Saturday’s UFC on FOX 2 event, Anderson Silva is next.
UFC president Dana White clarified the organization’s plans at today’s UFC on FOX 2 pre-event presser in Chicago.
“Chael is nuts,” White told MMAjunkie.com. “He says
all kinds of crazy things. … He will fight Anderson Silva if he wins.”

For Strikeforce fighters, the move has become commonplace: Win a fight, call out a UFC fighter.
Of course, both UFC and Strikeforce officials have insisted the two
promotions are going to remain separate for the time being, and fighter
sharing isn’t a current part of the plan.
So does UFC boss Dana White cringe each and every time he hears a
fighter asking for a matchup he’s not going to get? Not at all, says the
fiery UFC boss. But there are some other changes he wants to make.

“We’re still doing Montreal,” White said. “We’re just not going to do it when we were originally planning to.”

RIO DE JANEIRO – UFC 142 was a special situation, according to UFC president Dana White.
Following a weigh-in debacle that ultimately cost event co-headliner Anthony Johnson his job, UFC president Dana White told MMAjunkie.com the organization doesn’t plan to make fight-night weights available in the future.
Extenuating circumstances simply developed for UFC 142.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Welterweight Erick Silva may not have left Saturday
night’s UFC 142 event as a winner, but he’ll be paid like one.
At the evening’s post-event press conference at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC
Arena, UFC president Dana White told MMAjunkie.com
Silva will receive his win bonus despite being saddled with a
disqualification loss.
“We’re going to pay him like he won the fight,” White told MMAjunkie.com.
