RIO DE JANEIRO – Heading into Saturday’s UFC 134 event, neither Mauricio
“Shogun” Rua nor opponent Forrest Griffin are placing too much value on the result of their initial
2007 meeting.

That said, Rua still remembers that third-round submission loss and vows not to take part in a repeat performance.

He knows all about the “less than 100 percent” talk. He doesn’t want to
make excuses, but he admits he was not prepared. That’s not the case
this time.
