CHICAGO – It’s official: Evan Dunham has put himself back into the fray of UFC lightweight title contention.
Dunham primarily used his standup to secure a second-round TKO (via doctor’s stoppage) over a game Nik Lentz, who was stopped for the first time in his UFC career.
The bout served as the featured preliminary-card contest and aired on FUEL TV as part of the UFC on FOX 2 preliminary card.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jim Miller hopes his latest victory was enough to erase the memory of a recent loss and puts him back in the title picture.
Forgive him, though, if he doesn’t exactly remember the details of the performance.
In the main event of Friday’s UFC on FX 1 event in Nashville, Tenn., Miller said early troubles dished out by opponent Melvin Guillard forced him to rely on his training. At that point, instincts took over.

heatedly sparring in the cage. Anthony Pettis’ best friend has dropped
in and watches the proceedings. The friend leans over to Pettis and gym
patriarch Duke Roufus and says, “Hey man, that kid is pretty good. When
he grows up, he’ll be awesome.”
Downes is 25 years old, and a day out from fighting Ramsey Nijem on the preliminary card of UFC 137.
