Well, that didn’t take long.
UFC welterweight Thiago Alves is more than willing

switch, there is one additional adjustment to the card at UFC 119.
Aaron Riley has been scratched from the card, and Brazilian Thiago
Tavares has agreed to step in against newcomer
Pat Audinwood.
MMAjunkie.com confirmed the switch with sources
close to the event, though the reason for Riley’s removal from the planned contest wasn’t
immediately evident.

Thiago Alves does not want to fight at middleweight
and is willing to do whatever it takes to stay at welterweight.
The fighter on Monday told MMAjunkie.com that he’s
hired nutritionist Mike Dolce, a veteran of “The Ultimate Fighter 7,” to
assure the UFC that he never again misses weight in the 170-pound
class.
Alves finds out today whether the promotion will grant his wish.
