The Maximum Fighting Championship today announced that the promotion has signed a sponsorship agreement with Tapout Energy, making the brand the official energy drink of the MFC.
“The MFC has always taken great pride in being an organization that thrives on the support of its outstanding corporate partners,” said MFC owner Mark Pavelich in the official release. “Tapout Energy coming on board with the MFC is unquestionably one of the proudest moments in the history of this company.”
Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed in the announcement. However, the Canadian promotion did note that Tapout Energy will be featured prominently at the promotion’s next event, MFC 31. Headlined by a light heavyweight title confrontation between Ryan Jimmo and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, MFC 31 goes down Oct. 14 from the Mayfield Inn Trade and Conference Center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The event’s main draw will air live on HDNet.
“That’s very important and something that Mark and I agreed on right away,” said Tapout Energy executive Maurice Brisebois. “Tapout Energy needs to be at every fight and any other promotional event that the MFC is doing.”
