LAS VEGAS – A variety of kicks and solid takedown defense allowed Diego Nunes to scored a decision victory over the tough Manny Gamburyan.
The featherweight bout served as the curtain-jerker for UFC 141, which took place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.
It was one of three bouts that streamed on Facebook prior to the night’s Spike TV and pay-per-view broadcasts.

Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza now considers himself a complete mixed martial artist and plans to use all the tools at his disposal to beat Robbie Lawler.
But he’s got a specific tool of his own to put Lawler in his natural habitat on the ground.
“I don’t call my takedowns ‘wrestling takedowns,’” Jacare told MMAjunkie.com. “I call them ‘Jacare takedowns’ because I’ve got my own twist on it.”
