CHICAGO – After grinding through a difficult 2011 that saw him go 0-2 in
the UFC, “The Ultimate Fighter 11″ cast member Chris Camozzi picked up
an impressive win over fellow middleweight Dustin Jacoby.
The bout kicked off Saturday night’s UFC on FOX 2 event at Chicago’s
United Center and served as the evening’s lone un-aired matchup.
Camozzi battled through a bit of early adversity, as well as an in-fight injury and repair, to notch the win.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Veteran welterweight Josh Neer admits Duane “Bang” Ludwig was able to hurt him in
their UFC on FX 1 matchup.
Then again, when facing a Muay Thai specialist, Neer said you have to be aware of the possibilities.
So Neer said he instituted his backup plan when the need arose, and things went exactly as he hoped.

TORONTO – While it was clearly a victory – and a rather easy one at that – Dennis Hallman will always see an asterisk next to it.
A day after failing to make weight in his return to lightweight, Hallman made quick work of striker John Makdessi and earned a first-round submission victory.
The fight took place at UFC 140 at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. It aired on ION Television following additional prelims on Facebook and prior to the pay-per-view main card.

LAS VEGAS – Diego Brandao earned his ticket to “The Ultimate Fighter 14″ featherweight-tournament final with a string of highlight-reel knockouts.
But to win the tournament, the Brazilian used a super-slick submission just as Dennis Bermudez was about to pound his way to a stoppage win over him.
The stunning fight conclusion was part of the main card of The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale,
which aired on Spike TV following prelims on Facebook.

It was a proud moment for Scott McQuary when Chael Sonnen cinched an arm-triangle choke that forced Brian Stann to tap out.
McQuary, who joined forces with Sonnen three months prior as a jiu-jitsu and muay Thai coach, said the submission was one of a handful drilled into the fighter over the course of training camp.
“I saw it as an opportunity – because in all of Chael’s fights previously, he was always in those positions,” McQuary told MMAjunkie.com.
