Reality TV is a powerful thing when you’re on it for more than 10 minutes.
One one hand, Herman, now 31, is happy to have had the opportunity to be
seen on such a powerful platform as “The Ultimate Fighter.” For a fight career, nothing could be
better than weekly exposure, even if it consists of you monkeying around
a house in Las Vegas with free booze.
But it also means he’s that guy on “TUF.”

CHICAGO – After grinding through a difficult 2011 that saw him go 0-2 in
the UFC, “The Ultimate Fighter 11″ cast member Chris Camozzi picked up
an impressive win over fellow middleweight Dustin Jacoby.
The bout kicked off Saturday night’s UFC on FOX 2 event at Chicago’s
United Center and served as the evening’s lone un-aired matchup.
Camozzi battled through a bit of early adversity, as well as an in-fight injury and repair, to notch the win.

It hadn’t quite sunk in for Kenny Florian that he had been hired for a

Contractually speaking, that is.
“I haven’t signed anything that that’s going to happen yet,” he told

It also hasn’t sunk in yet that Florian may not ever fight again. Medically speaking, that is.

Although Alistair Overeem was paid in full following this past weekend’s UFC 141 event, reps for his former management team aren’t throwing in the towel.
A Nevada court recently ruled that Knock Out Investments, a fighter management group associated with Overeem’s former Golden Glory team, was due $241,285.49 due to breach of contract.
However, as MMAjunkie.com reported on Monday, a $200,000 surety bond wasn’t posted, and Overeem earned his full “show” and “win” money following a first-round TKO victory over Brock Lesnar.
