It hadn’t quite sunk in for Kenny Florian that he had been hired for a
color-commentating role on the UFC’s second broadcasting team.
Contractually speaking, that is.
“I haven’t signed anything that that’s going to happen yet,” he told
MMAjunkie.com shortly after UFC officials confirmed
his new job.
It also hasn’t sunk in yet that Florian may not ever fight again. Medically speaking, that is.

Carlos Condit “didn’t step aside” and relinquish his guaranteed title shot with UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre so Nick Diaz could cut to the front of the line.
That’s according to Condit’s agent, Malki Kawa, who released a statement to HDNet’s “Inside MMA” program on Monday.
The claim is contrary to what UFC president Dana White told MMAjunkie.com following Diaz’s win over B.J. Penn this past weekend at UFC 137.

Pat Healy is not an attractive opponent for the up-and-coming.
He’s got a tremendous number of fights on his resume, for one, and he’s beaten some big names before they were big. He’s lost to just as much to top-tier talent, but the ratio between his successes and failures is enough to give resume-builders pause.
Here’s the way managers probably pitch it: You’ll probably win, but it’s going to be a really, really tough fight.
