CHICAGO – Admittedly, moral victories still bloody suck.
But for UFC on FOX 2 co-headliner Michael Bisping, who suffered a close unanimous-decision loss to No. 1 contender Chael Sonnen on Saturday at Chicago’s United Center, the Brit sees the silver lining.
Despite the defeat, Bisping has plenty of reasons to be pleased with his performance.

UFC president Dana White’s war on Internet piracy may have just taken an unexpected (and somewhat bizarre) turn.
Twenty-four hours after hackers posted White’s alleged personal info -
including his apparent phone number, social security number and current
and past addresses – a Las Vegas woman has come forward and claims at least part of that information is completely incorrect.
“When I look, it’s my phone number and my address,” Las Vegas’ Julie
Breeler told FOX 5 Vegas in a Friday night report. “There’s no Dana
White here, folks.”

BIRMINGHAM, England – UFC 138 had the makings of a disaster for former UFC welterweight title challenger Thiago Alves.
A 16-fight UFC veteran, he was criticized for taking on an unknown UFC newcomer in Papy Abedi, and at Friday’s weigh-ins, his past weight-cutting issues seemed to catch up with him again when he initially failed to make weight.
A victory, though, was Alves needed to reassure himself better days are ahead.

Bellator Fighting Championships middleweight champ Hector Lombard returns to action on Nov. 19, when he’ll face
longtime vet Trevor Prangley in a 195-pound
non-title matchup.
Bellator officials today announced the contest, which will headline Bellator 58.
“I just want November to get here and knock someone out,” Lombard stated
in an official release. “It doesn’t matter who it is, I just want to do
what I do and that’s win.”
