but post-UFC 141, the UFC president admitted he thought Brock Lesnar was going to walk away victorious over Alistair
Overeem.
But when that didn’t happen, White said he wasn’t surprised Lesnar decided to walk away from the sport.

LAS VEGAS – Alistair Overeem is next in line for a UFC heavyweight title shot, and he ended a career to get it.
In his official UFC debut, the recent Strikeforce titleholder earned a first-round TKO victory over Brock Lesnar, an ex-champ who announced his MMA retirement following the loss.
The fight headlined the pay-per-view main card of UFC 141 and followed
prelims on Facebook and Spike TV. It took place at MGM Grand Garden
Arena in Las Vegas.

It was news to Krzysztof Soszynski that he was retired from fighting.
Not that he hadn’t previously considered it – but that he had announced it to the world on Monday evening.
“I’m sitting down surfing the net, and I come across Dana White’s video blog,” Soszynski told MMAjunkie.com. “I pop it on because I’m always a fan of those things, and next thing you know, there I am.”
