Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will get his wish.
UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta today revealed to ESPN.com that the
promotion has granted the former champion his request for a fight in
Japan, and Ryan Bader will now oppose him at UFC 144.
UFC 144 is set for Feb. 26 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Broadcast plans for the event have yet to be announced.

Just weeks before UFC light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones’ first title defense and Quinton Jackson’s first opportunity to reclaim his lost title, a behind-the-scenes drama has spilled into the public.
Jackson has accused Jones’ camp of infiltrating a private, Denver-area facility where he’s sequestered himself in preparation for their headlining fight at UFC 135.
He said he’s proven there’s a spy in his midst.

The hand injury that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson sustained this past Saturday at UFC 130 is serious – but perhaps not serious enough to stall his career.
As light-heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones tells it, Jackson will get a shot at his belt.
“I’ll be fighting Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson next,” Jones told MMAjunkie.com on Thursday. “I’m not allowed to discuss the date because I didn’t sign a contract, but yeah, it will be very soon.”
