Eight months after Tim Hague was released from the UFC for a
second time, the Canadian heavyweight says he’s undergone a total
overhaul and is looking to make his way back into the octagon.
Personal problems have been dealt with and training reinvigorated. Hague
embarks on a journey at Friday night’s Aggression MMA VIII event that
he says should take five fights and less than a year to earn his spot
back in the world’s biggest MMA promotion.

UFC president Dana White was so desperate to find a replacement for injured Phil Davis that he considered scrapping a UFC 133 preliminary-card bout and promoting Vladimir Matyushenko to a UFC 133 headliner with Rashad Evans.
White confirmed the potential fight during today’s UFC media call.

Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson has long been a dual-division contender.
But the former PRIDE middleweight and welterweight champion is taking on
a different challenge later this month when he faces heavyweight
great Fedor Emelianenko. But at 40 years old, Henderson isn’t worried
about bulking up to level the playing field.
“I think I have to weigh-in over 206, so (I’ll be) 206.1 (pounds), I guess,” Henderson told MMAjunkie.com.
