LAS VEGAS – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for today’s official UFC 143 weigh-ins, where all 22 competitors successfully made weight
for Saturday’s pay-per-view event.
The action went off without a hitch and – perhaps surprisingly – even
headliners Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit stared each other down without a
hint of a pre-fight physical altercation.
Nevertheless, both were received with a mix of boos and cheers during
today’s festivities took place at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Before a massive crowd that eventually spilled over to the historic venue’s balcony, all 20 fighters successfully made weight for the show, which takes place Saturday at the city’s sold-out United Center.

where all 20 competitors looked to make weight for Saturday’s
pay-per-view event, the company’s first 2012 visit to Brazil.
Unfortunately, one notable contestant didn’t.
In front of a lively crowd at Rio de Janeiro’s HSBC Arena, co-main event

LAS VEGAS – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for today’s official “Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine” weigh-ins,
where all 18 competitors (eventually) made weight for Saturday’s fight card.
But contrary to most concerns going into the day’s ceremony,
it wasn’t middleweight challenger Keith Jardine who struggled to make
his bout official. Instead, it was preliminary card fighter Nah-Shon
Burrell.
Meanwhile, Jardine
successfully made the middleweight limit wearing both his fight shorts
and a hat.

LAS VEGAS – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for today’s official UFC 141 weigh-ins, where all 22 competitors eventually made weight
for Friday’s pay-per-view contest.
Co-main event competitor Nate Diaz was the lone fighter who needed extra
time to make weight, and while opponent Donald Cerrone offered
to make it a catchweight contest, Diaz made 156 pounds shortly
after the official ceremony.
Today’s festivities took place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

SAN DIEGO – MMAjunkie.com was
on scene for today’s official “Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Masvidal” weigh-ins,
where all but one of the 18 competitors successfully made weight for Saturday’s fight card.
And it was the one that missed, along with his opponent, that provided the most fireworks during the day’s official ceremony.
After tipping the scales at 170 pounds, four-time Strikeforce vet Roger
Bowling charged right over to opponent Jerron Peoples, who not only
failed to make the welterweight limit but also missed an agreed-upon
179-pound catchweight limit, as well.

TORONTO – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for today’s official “UFC 140: Jones
vs. Machida” weigh-ins, where all 24 competitors looked to make weight
for Saturday’s pay-per-view contest.
Unfortunately for Dennis Hallman, he wasn’t as lucky as the other 23
contestants. “Superman” spent quite a bit of time on the scale, but the
lowest he could drop the mark was 158.5 pounds.
Check out images of all the fighters, including UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and fellow
headliner Lyoto Machida.

LAS VEGAS – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for today’s official The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale fighter weigh-ins and captured images of all 20 competitors.
Today’s ceremony was held at the Key West Ballroom at the Palms Casino
Resort in Las Vegas, which also hosts Saturday’s Spike TV-televised
event.
A vocal crowd of several hundred fans packed the ballroom and booed headliner Michael Bisping, both at the behest of Jason “Mayhem” Miller and on their own; “The Count” responded by launching into an expletive-laden rant and flashing them the middle finger on more than one occasion.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for today’s official “UFC 139: Shogun vs. Henderson” weigh-ins, where all 24 competitors looked to make weight for Saturday’s event, the company’s first-ever in the former hometown of Strikeforce.
Unfortunately, the scale wreaked havoc on many of the night’s fighters, forcing a drawn-out ceremony that saw both Shamar Bailey and Nick Pace miss weight.
Today’s festivities took place at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. The same venue host Saturday’s pay-per-view event.
