TORONTO – Tito Ortiz’s record 26th UFC fight unfortunately ended on the wrong end of a TKO.
Light-heavyweight opponent Antonio Rogerio Nogueira wobbled him with a left hook and then crippled him with body shots en route to a first-round TKO victory.
The fight took place at UFC 140 at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. It was part of the night’s pay-per-view main card and followed prelims on Facebook and ION Television.

TORONTO – Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz may finally be ready to call it quits.
On the eve of his UFC 140 matchup with fellow longtime vet Antonio
Rogerio Nogueira, Ortiz believes he’s finally -
thankfully – healthy, but that’s precisely the point.
With kids at home that need a father, Ortiz remembers what it was like
to have absentee parents. And with all that fighting has given to him
over the years, Ortiz refuses to let the sport take away future quality
time with his family.

Tito Ortiz will look to recreate his image heading into UFC 140 and a date with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira as the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champ and King of smack-talk wants to be known as "The People's Champ" from now on and not "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy":<br><Br>
"No longer the bad boy, positive from here on out. I'm now the ‘People's Champ.' I just want to change my whole outlook on life. Being the bad boy, talking smack to sell fights, I no longer need to do that. I've got three boys who are growing up and I want to make sure I'm known as someone who has given back to MMA and been a positive role model to a lot of people's lives. Being the ‘People's Champ,' the only other person I can think of who's done the great things in their sport was Muhammad Ali. If I could walk in one of those footsteps, then I've done my job as a fighter and a mixed martial artist."<Br><Br>
