Vadim Finkelstein, co-founder of M-1 Global and Emelianenko’s manager, today confirmed the recent Strikeforce fighter will fight in his native Russia in “late fall.”

December’s UFC 140 event officially will take place in Toronto.
Officials today announced that the Dec. 10 event, which once was rumored for Montreal, instead takes place at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
No fights are rumored for the event, which is expected to air on pay-per-view a week after The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale on Spike TV.

The fight card for this month’s “Strikeforce and M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Henderson” main card is set with five bouts.
The Showtime-televised co-headliners include light-heavyweight champ Dan Henderson vs. Fedor Emelianenko in a heavyweight non-title fight, and Strikeforce women’s welterweight champ Marloes Coenen vs. challenger Miesha Tate.
Rounding out the televised main card are middleweights Tim Kennedy vs. Robbie Lawler, welterweights Tyron Woodley vs. Paul Daley, and welterweights Tarec Saffiedine vs. Scott Smith.

M-1 Global’s return to Showtime is now official with five main-card contests.
The premium-cable channel recently announced four new contests for “M-1 Challenge 26: Bennett vs. Garner,” including Arthur Guseinov vs. Tyson Jeffries, Josh Bacallao vs. Mairbek Taisumov, Beau Baker vs. Daniel Weichel and Eddie Arizmendi vs. Jason Norwood.
Featuring a rematch between M-1 Selection 2010 heavyweight tournament finalists Pat Bennett and Kenny Garner, “M-1 Challenge 26: Bennett vs. Garner” takes place July 8 at The Hangar in Costa Mesa, Calif., and airs on Showtime.

complete.
Strikeforce officials today confirmed the event’s nine-bout lineup,
which features lightweight prospects Caros Fodor and
James Terry in the night’s Showtime-broadcast main
event.
Also featuring a contest between undefeated lightweights Ryan Couture and Matt Ricehouse, Strikeforce
Challengers 16 takes place June 24 at ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash.

When judges plunk down cageside to score the fights at UFC 131, they’ll have more than just their eyes and ears to do the job.
According to UFC Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Marc Ratner, the Vancouver Athletic Commission on Tuesday approved the use of cageside monitors for the June 11 event.
“It’s just another tool for the judges,” Ratner today told MMAjunkie.com.
