Brazilian sluggers Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva will serve as opposing coaches on “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.”
UFC president Dana White today announced the selections during a pre-UFC 142 press conference in Rio de Janeiro.
The two will coach opposing teams on the first-ever international
edition of “TUF,” which in March debuts on Globo, and will oppose each
other following the conclusion of the series.

Tonight’s industry-wide festivities took place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Winners were announced in 22 categories. UFC light-heavyweight
champion Jon Jones earned the coveted Charles “Mask” Lewis Fighter of
the Year award, and late trainer Shawn Tompkins earned a Special
Lifetime Achievement award.

HOUSTON – UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva will grace the cover of “UFC Undisputed 3.”
On the main stage of
UFC Fan Expo Houston 2011, UFC president Dana White today revealed the winner of a fan-driven vote that ran from Aug. 26 to Sept 30.
“I’m very happy,” Silva said after the announcement. “Thank you to my
fans and my family. For me this is a great, great, great dream.”

“Hamill,” a feature film based on the life of UFC light heavyweight Matt Hamill, is now two-for-two.
The film picked up the Audience Award for Best Feature Film this past
weekend at the Miami Film Festival. The honor comes four months after it
captured the Breakthrough Film award at the 2010 AFI Film Festival in
Los Angeles.
“These awards are further proof to show that this film can survive
theatrically and break the mold,” “Hamill” writer Eben Kostbar told

After months of speculation and more than a dozen rumored names, UFC president Dana White
today announced heavyweight contenders Brock Lesnar and Junior Dos
Santos will be coaches on the upcoming 13th season of “The Ultimate
Fighter.”
White made the announcement during a media call.
“The Ultimate Fighter 13″ debuts March 30 on Spike TV, and a live finale
is slated for June 4. The coaches meet in a season-ending fight in
June, possibly at UFC 131 in Toronto.
