Koscheck earned a close decision win, but Pierce’s stock will suffer little.
The main-card bout was part of UFC 143 and aired on pay-per-view from Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center.

But after finding himself on the receiving end of a Mike Pierce call-out, Koscheck now finds himself in a fight he wasn’t
expecting. Koscheck had actually hoped to fight at 185 pounds, but he’s since tapped into motivation in spades.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – When it comes to pre-fight mean-mugging, bantamweight
Mike Easton is among the pound-for-pound best in the sport.

Take for instance, his rivalry with Jared Papazian, which resulted in what
what many think should have been UFC on FX 1′s “Fight of the Night.”
Now that it’s over, Easton said the respect can begin.
