LAS VEGAS – Renan Barao survived arguably the biggest test of his MMA career and scored a unanimous-decision victory over former WEC bantamweight title challenger Scott Jorgensen.
The impressive performance earned Barao his 28th straight win and solidified his status as one of the UFC’s top 135-pound contenders.
The main-card bout was part of UFC 143 and aired on pay-per-view from Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center. Prelims aired on FX and streamed on Facebook.

The fast-rising Swedish light heavyweight needed a little more than two minutes to scored a TKO victory over 41-year-old Matyushenko, a fighter 16 years his elder.

LAS VEGAS – John Albert’s entrance music wrote a check that his fists quickly cashed.
After entering the cage to the 1960s country hit “Big Bad John,” Team Bisping bantamweight “Prince” Albert jumped into an immediate firefight with Team Miller’s Dustin Pague and ultimately forced a TKO stoppage in just 69 seconds.
The fight was part of the night’s preliminary card, which streamed live

for The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale, where main-event fighter Michael
Bisping both missed weight on his first attempt and left the stage with
choice words for the ceremony’s audience.
Ultimately, though, he hit the needed 186 pounds.
Bisping weighed 186.25 pounds on his first attempt even after stripping naked for the weigh-in.
