TORONTO – Chan Sung Jung, Frank Mir, Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida
each earned $75,000 fight-night bonuses for their performances
at Saturday’s UFC 140 event.

Jung earned the night’s “Knockout of the Night” award, Mir picked up
the “Submission of the Night” bonus, and Jones and Machida earned “Fight of the Night” honors.

MMAjunkie.com learned of the bonus winners and award amounts at UFC 139′s post-fight press conference.

TORONTO – One lingering question has been answered: UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones can handle some adversity.

The seemingly indestructible champion faced some first-round troubles before storming back – in what’s quickly becoming vintage form – to earn a submission victory over challenger Lyoto Machida.

The fight took place at UFC 140 at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. It headlined the night’s pay-per-view main card and followed prelims on Facebook and ION Television.

Today’s festivities took place at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, which also hosts Saturday’s pay-per-view event.

Among those weighing in were UFC light-heavyweight Jon Jones (who weighed 205 pounds) and challenger Loyoto Machida (204), who meet in the night’s main event.

With Rashad Evans again injured, UFC officials booked UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones against-ex-titleholder Lyoto Machida in this weekend’s pay-per-view headliner.

As Machida today told MMAjunkie.com, you can count him among the initially surprised parties.
