Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has retreated to the relative solitude of his farm in Canada to recover from a second bout of diverticulitis.
Although he’s shirked all communication with everyone other than those closest to him, the move has gone well, according to UFC president Dana White.
From the sound of it, Lesnar is on track to beat the intestinal disease a second time.

LAS VEGAS – Following Wednesday’s UFC 130 presser, UFC president Dana White spent an additional half-hour speaking with a small group of reporters, and the fiery exec opened up regarding numerous topics.
While MMAjunkie.com has already covered several key issues, including the latest on potential matchups such as Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz and Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans, White addressed numerous additional pertinent points.

That may or may not be a good thing.

The book covers the 33-year-old’s many sporting endeavors.

Despite hia main-event defeat and losing his heavyweight title to Cain
Velasquez, Brock Lesnar was the top earner at this past weekend’s UFC
121 event and earned $400,000 of the night’s $1.513 million disclosed
payroll.
MMAjunkie.com recently requested and today received the list of salaries from the California State Athletic Commission.
Tito Ortiz ($250,000), Velasquez ($200,000) and co-main-event winner Jake Shields ($150,000) were other top earners from the card, which took place Oct. 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

sleep now that Cain Velasquez reigns over the heavyweight division.
“It’s not about that,” White said following Velasquez’s title-winning
TKO victory over Lesnar at UFC
121. “This is fight business. Whoever wins, wins. I don’t look at how he
is a huge draw and we should do this or that.”
