This past week’s “Countdown to UFC 141″ debut on FUEL TV scored just 15,000 viewers and a 0.03 household rating rating among men 18-49 and a 0.0 among men 18-34.
MMAjunkie.com today confirmed the Dec. 21 ratings with an industry source.
The show, which previews Friday’s UFC 141 event and the headlining
heavyweight eliminator of Alistair Overeem vs. Brock Lesnar, scored just
1,000 viewers for 1 a.m. ET/PT replay that followed the 10 p.m. ET/PT
debut.

John Dodson survived a field of 16 solid bantamweights, the craziness of reality TV, the nerves of a nationally televised event, and underdog status against odds-on favorite T.J. Dillashaw to win “The Ultimate Fighter 14.”
Not bad for a guy who still considers himself a flyweight.
But the 5-foot-3 fighter told MMAjunkie.com he’s willing to compete in three different weight classes if need be.

He left it just moments later hobbled and in a complete daze after young bantamweight Michael McDonald’s vicious first-round knockout.
The UFC 139 bout kicked off the night’s Spike TV “UFC Prelims” special following additional prelims on Facebook. It preceded the night’s pay-per-view main card.

Jeff Monson is usually not one to prop up flagging dictatorships, but he believes the reign of Fedor Emelianenko didn’t just end with three consecutive losses.
Monson is a 14-year veteran of the sport with 55 fights under his belt, extensive submission-grappling experience and pro-boxing fights. He’s seen plenty of people rise and fall.
Heck, he’s constantly battling for respect himself five years after he unsuccessfully tried to take the UFC heavyweight belt from Tim Sylvia.

UFC featherweight Robert Peralta is lukewarm on a rematch with Mackens Semerzier.
That is, he’ll do it if the UFC requests it, but he’s OK if he doesn’t have to fight Semerzier a second time.
“If that’s what the UFC is giving me, then that’s what I’ll do,” Peralta
today told MMAjunkie.com. “I’m completely fine.”

The latest one-hour special coincided with this past weekend’s UFC 137 event and featured wins by Donald Cerrone and Bart Palaszewski.
Spike TV officials today emailed the ratings information to MMAjunkie.com.
