A welterweight bout between British fighter Mark Scanlon and former middleweight James Head has been added to October’s UFC 138 lineup.
Officials today announced the matchup.
UFC 138 takes place Nov. 5 at the 16,000-seat LG Arena at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England.

After 15 years and 45 fights, Wanderlei Silva goals appear to be running at cross purposes.
On one hand, he wants to fight 10 more fights over five years. He doesn’t want to retire just yet. He’s clearly addicted to the rush brought by fighting under the lights.

Jason Young, Shane Carwin and James Head received the longest medical suspensions following the recent UFC 131 event.
MMAjunkie.com recently requested and today received the list of suspensions from the Vancouver Athletic Commission.
UFC 131 took place June 11 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Junior Dos Santos scored a unanimous-decision victory over Carwin in the night’s pay-per-view headliner.
