MILWAUKEE – In the main event of Sunday’s UFC on Versus 5 card, British
slugger Dan Hardy finally got the fight for which
he had long pined.
And yet somehow, even though fellow scrapper Chris Lytle stood in front of him for a little more than 14 minutes,
Hardy still came up short.
Lorenzo Fertitta put an end to all speculation by Tweeting post-fight
that Hardy will get at least one more fight in the octagon. But “The
Outlaw” isn’t quite sure when he’ll take the UFC co-owner up on the
offer. There is much to learn, Hardy said, and he needs time away from
competition to do it.

MILWAUKEE – Chris Lytle, Dan Hardy and Donald Cerrone
each earned $65,000 “Fight Night” bonuses for their performances
at Saturday’s UFC on Versus 5 event.
Lytle, in fact, picked up two awards, which give him 10 total fight-night awards in his storied career.
Cerrone earned the night’s “Knockout of the Night” bonus, Lytle earned the “Submission of the Night” award, and Lytle and Hardy took home “Fight of the Night” honors.
