Onetime UFC title challenger Dan Hardy makes no
attempt to hide how difficult it’s been to cope with four-consecutive
octagon losses.
However, he also makes no attempt to hide how good his life still remains.
“To be honest, every day is a little bit surreal for me,” Hardy recently
told MMAjunkie.com Radio. “Living in Vegas
and fighting in the UFC and being able to walk through the streets and
being recognized, it’s very odd. I’ve got an action figure, and I’m on
video games. Every day is surreal.”

Featuring a card some are calling the best of the year, Versus on
Wednesday night airs replays of “UFC on Versus 5: Hardy vs. Lytle.”
The replays are set for 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) and 12:30 a.m. ET.
The Aug. 14 event took place at Bradley Center in Milwaukee and featured
the retirement fight of fan-favorite welterweight Chris Lytle, as well
as a key lightweight bout between top contender Jim Miller and former
WEC bantamweight champ Ben Henderson.

MILWAUKEE – In the main event of Sunday’s UFC on Versus 5 card, British
slugger Dan Hardy finally got the fight for which
he had long pined.
And yet somehow, even though fellow scrapper Chris Lytle stood in front of him for a little more than 14 minutes,
Hardy still came up short.
UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta put an end to all speculation by tweeting post-fight
that Hardy will get at least one more fight in the octagon. But “The
Outlaw” isn’t quite sure when he’ll take the UFC co-owner up on the
offer.
