likely seem like an appealing and conquerable task.
Fabricio Camoes lasted 25
minutes and 14 seconds against the current UFC middleweight champion. He was just 18 years
old at the time the pair fought in Brazil.
So whether Camoes’ next opponent was destined to be Reza Madadi or Tommy Hayden, his train of thought is always going to be, “Okay, that’s fine. At
least it’s not Anderson.”

LAS VEGAS – For now, at least, former Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem will face Brock Lesnar in the main
event of December’s UFC 141 event.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission today granted Overeem a conditional
license to face Lesnar on Dec. 30, subject to a pre-fight drug test to
be submitted in Europe within the next 72 hours, as well as an
additional screen submitted in the U.S. when the Dutch heavyweight
arrives for the contest.
Overeem’s conditional license also includes two post-fight drug screen
orders, to be completed less than six months after the bout.

The fight of Daniel Miller Jr. is not yet over.
The one-year-old son of UFC middleweight Dan Miller needs a kidney
transplant as the result of a genetic kidney disorder known as
polycystic kidney disease, or PKD, and a foundation has been formed in
his name to raise money for medical bills in the neighborhood of
$100,000.
Miller’s team, AMA Fight Club, is holding an MMA seminar at the gym on
Dec. 3, the proceeds of which will benefit the foundation. An auction is
also being planned for the end of the year.

In September, Siyar Bahadurzada informed the world he was UFC bound.
Today, he released the details of his first fight, which takes place in January in Brazil.
“I’ll be fighting Erick Silva at UFC 142!” Bahadurzada today stated on
his official Twitter account. “Anxious to fight in Rio again!”

Bellator Fighting Championships female champion Zoila Gurgel has been forced to withdraw from a planned Bellator 57
non-title fight with Carina Damm.
Gurgel announced the withdrawal today on her Twitter account, citing a torn ACL as the issue.
“I just took an MRI of my knee yesterday and results came back; I
completely tore my ACL,” Gurgel stated. “It’s off to surgery hopefully soon and back to the
training ASAP.”
