An intriguing lightweight contest between Donald Cerrone and Yves Edwards has been added to May’s UFC
on FX 3 event.

The new booking was announced on Tuesday’s new episode of “UFC Tonight” on FUEL TV.

UFC on FX 3 takes place May 15 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. The night’s main card airs on FX.

Sources close to the event today confirmed to MMAjunkie.com that Edwards has withdrawn from UFC 143 and has been
replaced by Dan Stittgen, who will meet fellow
newcomer Stephen Thompson on the event’s preliminary
card.

UFC 142 takes place Feb. 4 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Main-card action airs live on pay-per-view while preliminary fights air
on FX.

A welterweight fight between Justin Edwards and Mike Stumpf has been added to February’s UFC 143 lineup.

UFC officials today announced that verbal agreements are in place for the bout.

UFC 143, which is headlined by an interim welterweight title fight between Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit, takes place on the eve of the NFL’s Super Bowl, Feb. 4, at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yves Edwards is by no means done.

Three months after he was knocked out cold by Sam Stout, the 35-year-old veteran asserted himself with a second-round TKO of Rafaello Oliveira.

The lightweight fight was the featured preliminary-card attraction at UFC on Versus 6, which took place today at Washington, D.C.’s Verizon Center. The prelims streamed on Facebook prior to the night’s Versus-televised main card.
