LAS VEGAS – Carlos Condit is impressed by Nick Diaz’s vaunted boxing
attack, but he’s not going to shy away from a firefight in the main
event of this weekend’s UFC 143 event.
“Anybody that’s seen me fight knows I like to scrap,” Condit today told

the fans a show. I like to keep it exciting.

It’s almost as if it never happened.
The California State Athletic Commission today changed the result of a Nov. 12 bout between Mackens Semerzier and Robert Peralta after it was determined an inadvertent headbutt was responsible for
ending the UFC on FOX contest in Anaheim, Calif.
Semerzier’s manager, Brian Butler-Au of SuckerPunch Entertainment, first announced the change via Twitter.

Eleven weeks wasn’t enough to determine Bellator Fighting Championships’
season-five heavyweight tournament winner, as Eric Prindle and Thiago
Santos fought to a no-contest result in the featured bout of Saturday’s
Bellator 59 event.
The end came when Prindle was unable to fight on after being kicked in the groin by his opponent just 84 seconds into the fight.
The bizarre result provided an anti-climatic end to a fight card that
also saw an in-cage retirement and the crowning of a bantamweight
tournament winner.

LAS VEGAS – A small army of bald and not-so-bald guys converged Friday
on UFC Fan Expo 2010′s main stage for the “Dana White Lookalike
Contest.”
Competitors gave their best Dana White impressions by acting out some of
his most famous sound bites – without the f-bombs.
In the end, Las Vegas native John Drace topped the field of hopefuls, including MMA reporter Joe Ferraro, and took home the $5,000 prize as a
dead ringer for the UFC figurehead.

Stephan Bonnar’s art company, NGAUGE Inc., hosts the event at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT) on the main stage at UFC Fan Expo 2010, which takes place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The first-place finisher earns $5,000.
