After an X-ray showed no broken bones in his hands, Brian Bowles is now campaigning for a shot to reclaim a belt.
The former WEC bantamweight champion scored a decision victory over Takeya Mizugaki this past weekend at UFC 132.
Now, he wants to avenge his only career defeat, which came to current UFC 135-pound champion Dominick Cruz back in early 2010.

And so it was for Dominick Cruz following his UFC 132 victory former WEC featherweight champ Urijah Faber.
Many MMA pundits pointed to former WEC champ Brian Bowles as the leading candidate to snag the next shot at the 135-pound
belt, but UFC brass said that’s not necessarily the case.
