Keeping with officials’ promise for overseas shows, April’s UFC on FUEL TV 2 event in Sweden will air live in the U.S.
FUEL TV officials today confirmed the plans with MMAjunkie.com.
The event, which takes April 14 at Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, airs live in the U.S. from 3-6 p.m. ET (noon to 3 p.m. PT). It kicks off at 9 p.m. local time.

“Fear Factor” is officially back on NBC beginning Dec. 12.
As the network previously announced, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan,
who hosted “Fear Factor” during its initial run from 2001 to 2006, has signed on for a relaunch
of the show.
Eight new episodes of stunt/dare reality show are in the can, and a preview is now available.

HDNet’s weekly MMA news show, “Inside MMA,” makes a permanent move to a Monday time slot starting tonight.
Additionally, the long-running program now airs live.
Tonight’s first Monday episode airs at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) with guests Phil Davis, Roy Nelson, Frank Mir and Matt Hume.

In a welcomed move that’s sure to spark lots of speculation, Bellator Fighting Championships today announced its preliminary-card fights now will stream live and for free on Spike.com.
The two-hour streams, which kick off each Saturday at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT), begin with this week’s Bellator 49 event.

In recent years, many MMA fans and pundits alike have wondered aloud if
the sport has somehow reached a plateau in terms of popularity.
UFC president Dana White has always laughed and that notion, insisting
the sport’s growth is just beginning. Now, he’s got a powerful ally with
the same belief: FOX Sports Media Group chairman David Hill.
“You look at where Frank and Lorenzo (Fertitta) and Dana have taken this
sport, and it’s literally that small of a group,” Hill said. “That’s the braintrust that have made it work for the
past decade. Imagine what’s going to happen in the next decade. I really
think the growth potential of this is explosive.”

After 14 seasons, “TUF” is going live.
Among many of the changes forthcoming in the wake of the UFC’s new deal
with FOX, the promotion’s flagship reality show is undergoing a major
overhaul for its 15th season, which is scheduled to air in spring 2012
on FOX subsidiary FX.
The show’s fights will now air live each week, as opposed to pre-taped
and aired over the course of a 12-week season, FOX and UFC officials
said today during a press conference today in Los Angeles.
